The Noppinger is back
Enough renovating. Enough planning. Enough talking about what’s to come. Since September 1, 2026, the doors of the historic Noppinger have been open once again. And yes – we think the wait was well worth it. We’ve changed a lot, brought a few things back to life and, thankfully, haven’t reinvented absolutely everything. Because a truly great Austrian inn doesn’t need any frills. Just good food, a proper beer, a regulars’ table and people who love getting together. Here, traditional Austrian home cooking meets a fresh new look. The oven is working overtime, the beer is freshly poured straight from the tap, and, just as always, Emperor Karl watches over it all from the Untersberg.

Well, just two slightly crazy souls from Grödig. Meet Kathi – you might know her from her delicatessen shop “Leckerbissen”. And her husband Hannes, whom you might recognise from the Grödig brass band.
Of course! But what we’re really looking for are team players who want to join us on this crazy adventure of bringing an old inn back to life. We’re looking for lovely people to join us in the kitchen and help out with service. What do we offer? A fun and relaxed atmosphere, an exciting new-old project and a complimentary beer at the end of the day. At least one! Sounds good? Just drop us a line. Let’s just call it what it is: “Authentic Salzburg inn culture with a little twist.” Right in the heart of our dining room, you’ll find a traditional bread oven – and yes, we’ll be cooking with it, too. Our menu will be small, but carefully curated. Everything freshly prepared, with a generous helping of love. No fancy frills, no fuss. Just simple, authentic and honest food. The way it should be.
Of course! We have brand-new holiday apartments – or rather, stylish little studios ranging from 28 to 55 m², each with a fully equipped kitchen. And for breakfast? Just pop next door to the Klappacher bakery and enjoy something delicious!
