Of course – especially if you like to take care of things yourself! All our apartments come with a fully equipped kitchen. Need some coffee pods for your espresso machine? Just let us know or simply pop by the inn. Coffee pods are available for €0.50 each. You can also pick up some delicious treats at the inn, including our homemade jams, local forest honey from Grödig, made with honey from the Untersberg area, and tasty snacks. Absolutely delicious! And if you fancy some fresh bread or pastries, there’s a little bakery just a few steps away. It’s open daily (except public holidays) and offers freshly baked goodies. You can even enjoy breakfast right there at the bakery!

Check-in is possible either at the inn or conveniently via our self-check-in system. After booking, you’ll receive an email with a link to our guest portal. There, you’ll find all the information you need for your arrival, including the access codes for the main entrance and your apartment, as well as your invoice. Easy, convenient and hassle-free!

Your apartment will be ready for you from 3:00 pm on your arrival day. We look forward to welcoming you!

Check-out is by 11:00 am at the latest. Want to explore the city a little longer before heading home? No problem! We’ll be happy to store your luggage free of charge while you’re out and about. Of course!

Hey, we may be traditional, but we’re pretty modern, too! Once your payment is confirmed, you’ll receive a link to your personal guest portal. There, you’ll find all the information you need for your arrival, as well as a link to our online guest registration form. As soon as we’ve received your registration details, we’ll send you your Salzburg Mobility Tickets. Tradition meets convenience – nice and easy!

The Mobility Ticket gives you free access to all public transport throughout the province of Salzburg. Your tickets will be sent to you by email as soon as you’ve completed your online guest registration. Easy, convenient and ready for you to explore Salzburg!

No worries! You’ll receive all the information you need before your arrival or on the day you check in, either by email or via your personal guest portal. If you have any questions or need anything during your stay, simply pop by the inn. We’ll be happy to help!

On the day of your arrival, you’ll receive a personal PIN code that gives you 24/7 access to both the building and your studio. If you prefer, we can also provide you with a key card. But trust us, you probably won’t need it ... 😉

Our holiday apartments / studios must be paid for in advance at the time of booking. Once payment has been received, your booking is confirmed. Need an invoice made out to your company? No problem! We’ll be happy to issue one using your preferred company details.

We guarantee you the best rate when booking our apartments / studios directly through our website. You won’t find them cheaper anywhere else. That’s our innkeeper’s honour! 😉

Cancellations are never fun, unfortunately. Here are our cancellation policies:

Cancellation policy

• Up to 30 days before arrival: Free cancellation. Your 100% advance payment will be fully refunded.

• 29 to 15 days before arrival: 40% cancellation fee – 60% of your payment will be refunded.

• 14 to 4 days before arrival: 70% cancellation fee – 30% of your payment will be refunded.

• 3 days or less before arrival: 100% cancellation fee – no refund.

In case of late arrival, early departure or no-show, 100% of the total booked stay will be charged.

All cancellation fees are calculated based on the total booking price.

The Untersberg is home not only to dwarves, Emperor Charlemagne and countless mystical legends, but also to an abundance of water. Its natural springs provide wonderfully pure drinking water, supplying the greater Salzburg and Berchtesgaden areas with water of the highest quality. Enjoy the luxury of fresh, crystal-clear mountain spring water – straight from your tap!

Our rooftop terrace is exclusively yours to enjoy as our guests – with the best views of the Untersberg! Feel free to bring your morning coffee or enjoy a glass of wine up there. It's the perfect spot to relax and take in the view. Open daily from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Whether it’s the food on your plate, something in your room or one of our services – please come and talk to us if something isn’t as you expected. Just like in the good old days, before the internet existed. We’d much rather hear it from you directly and, above all, have the chance to make things right straight away. Getting around couldn’t be easier! From Grödig, you can easily reach Salzburg city centre by taking bus line 5 (the bus stop is right next to the Raiffeisenbank) or line 25 (about a 5-minute walk away). At St. Leonhard, which is served by both lines 5 and 25, you can change to bus line 840 and explore the beautiful Berchtesgaden region, including Lake Königssee, the Eagle’s Nest (Kehlsteinhaus) and much more. And the best part? With your Salzburg Mobility Ticket, you can use all public transport lines free of charge!

Grödig is the perfect base for exploring everything the region has to offer. Thanks to its central location, you can easily discover the city of Salzburg, the surrounding mountains, the beautiful Salzkammergut region, the lakes of the Alpine foothills and the Berchtesgaden area. Or why not visit the original filming locations of The Sound of Music? Hallstatt is also just a short trip away. We're ideally located, with all the major highlights easily accessible by car or public transport. The perfect starting point for your adventures!

One of our guests’ favourite tips is the Salzburg Card! You can purchase it at any tourist information office in Salzburg or conveniently online at www.salzburg.info. Available for 24, 48 or 72 hours, the Salzburg Card gives you access to many of the city's top attractions at great value. It's a fantastic way to explore Salzburg and make the most of your stay!

We don’t change your hand and bath towels every day – for the sake of the environment. If you’d like fresh ones, just let us know. Thanks for helping us save valuable resources! But that’s not all. You see, we’re all about going back to our roots and keeping many things just the way they used to be. Above all, we choose authentic, natural materials sourced from our region. And here’s something pretty special: we use groundwater to heat and even cool our holiday apartments and studios! Wondering how that works? Come and take a look!

Absolutely! We’ve decided to do away with minibars in every room. Instead, you’ll find a snack vending machine on your floor, available 24/7. Help yourself whenever you fancy a little treat!

Of course – we’ve thought of everything! A washing machine and tumble dryer are available free of charge on the first floor. You’ll also find an ironing board and an iron for your convenience. Just one little favour: please put them back when you’re done. The next guest will appreciate it!
